Marilla serves her community as a member of the Rotary Club of Lynnwood, currently on their board as President-Elect and also serves on the board of the Lynnwood Rotary Community Foundation. Marilla is a board member of Volunteers of America, Western Washington and is co-chair of their Marketing Task force committee. Marilla’s staff are cemented within the South Snohomish County community, volunteering and providing service and leadership to many local not for profit organizations such as Clothes for Kids, Sno-King Youth Club, Mountlake Terrace Garden Club and the Edmonds Center for the Arts. The Mountlake Terrace banking team has been together for more than a decade, we are not just your banker, we are your friend!
""I have been working with Marilla and her staff for about 10 years now and they have been a life saver! Having a relationship with the employees directly and access to their financial advice has saved my business on many occasions. I appreciate being a part of the HomeStreet Family!""

“Marilla has been an active advocate at HomeStreet for us as her client, and has helped facilitate everything essential for us to monitor and manage our corporate bank accounts. She may not always have the answer, but she always knows who does, and makes sure all of our needs are met. I also appreciate that she is an active member of the community – every time we speak she’s involved on another board, committee, or community project. It’s obvious that service (and customer service) is an intrinsic part of who she is as a person, and likely part of why she does her job so well! It’s nice to work with someone who is both competent at what they do, and with whom you truly enjoy doing business.”
- Shilo M. Lockett, President, Comprehensive Wealth Management, LLC
“Marilla provides exactly the kind of banking customer service we were seeking. Thoughtful, engaging and always looking for ways to make banking administration easier so we can focus on our business. We’re happy we switched to HomeStreet.”
